The Spaniard drove an incredible race this Sunday morning. Starting well, she quickly took the lead and opened up a slight gap. Under pressure from van Drunen late in the race, the Mequite Racing rider managed to maintain a 0.159-second advantage at the finish line. This first-place finish allows her to win her first GP of the season. She is now third in the championship, 21 points behind the leader. Lotte van Drunen was pushed hard by her entire home crowd to claim victory, but failed in her quest. Having started less well than the day before, the De Baets MX Team rider quickly moved into second place after overtaking van der Vlist before closing the gap on Guillen lap after lap. Second in her HomeGP, she performed well in the championship and now has a 20-point lead. Shana van der Vlist completes the day’s podium. The Yamaha rider had a strong second race, much to her anticipation, even though she admitted she hadn’t found the right rhythm. Absent last year due to injury, she shone in front of her home crowd this year.

Lucy Barker had her best GP yet. The three-time European champion showed in practice that she would be a force to be reckoned with this weekend. With her riding style, the British rider was in twelfth position at the end of the first lap. Following a good pace, she gained positions lap after lap, taking fourth place by the end of the race. Kiara Fontanesi finished fifth, tied on points with Barker. The GasGas rider took the holeshot in this second race but crashed before the end of the first lap. Having started well back, the Italian gave it her all to move back up to sixth. A complicated weekend, but anything remains possible for the title. Danée Gelissen finished fifth again in the race, securing sixth place overall. The De Baets rider held fourth place for several laps, leading the chasing group.

Sara Andersen finished seventh overall after a complicated second race despite a very good pace. The Wozniak MX Yamaha Racing Team rider crashed and could only manage ninth in the second moto. A good GP for her comeback, the last of the season for her. Martine Hughes finished eighth with a very solid second moto. Battling for fourth place, the Norwegian made a mistake on the penultimate lap, losing several positions. A very positive result. April Franzoni finished ninth of the weekend. A positive second race for the Honda SR Team rider, who had the pace to fight with the fourth-place group. Larissa Papenmeier completed the top 10 this round. The SYE 423 Racing Team rider was unable to find the right rhythm in the second moto, finishing in eleventh place. She is now seventh in the championship and remains in contention for a place in the top 5.

Amandine Verstappen finished eleventh in the weekend, with a top 10 finish in the second race. Despite a good start and good speed, the Belgian rider was unable to maintain her pace throughout the race and lost several positions. Recently hampered by an engine problem, the New Bike Yamaha rider remains in the running for a top 5 finish in the championship. Arriving ill in the Netherlands, Tyra Bäckström scored significant points for the championship with a twelfth-place finish. The Swede didn’t get off to a good start but managed a strong comeback. Elena Kapsamer once again made a strong comeback by being aggressive in the opening laps after a difficult start. She achieved her best result with a thirteenth-place finish. The Austrian is one of the riders who has improved the most since last year.

Amber Simons finished fourteenth in her HomeGP. After a good start, the Triumph rider made several mistakes in the second race that deprived her of a better position. She finished ahead of Laura Raunkjaer, who once again had a strong second race. Consistent, the Danish rider, who rides for the SYE Racing Team 423, posted her best GP of the season. Mathea Selebø finished sixteenth in this round despite retiring in the second race.

Fiona Hoppe finished 17th overall this weekend. She battled in the second race with Kapsamer, Andersson Löf, and other riders. A good result for the Triumph rider. Elsa Andersson Löf achieved her best result of the season in the WMX World Championship. After missing out yesterday following a crash, the young Swede battled with Kapsamer, notably for thirteenth place. An excellent result for her last GP of the season. Alexandra Massury was consistent this weekend to finish 19th. Less comfortable in the sand, the German champion made small mistakes in the second race and had the pace to move up a position. Malou Jakobsen earned a Top 20 finish despite not managing to score any points in the second race. What resilience from the KL Racing team rider, who held on to finish despite several injuries. Mara Benecke finished 21st, scoring points in both races. A good weekend for the German driver. Rosalita Hovind scored her first point in the second race.
