After surprising many with her comeback to racing at the start of the 2025 season, Irish motocross rider Natalie Kane has confirmed that she will continue competing in 2026 — and this time, on new machinery.
Kane, 2012 world vice-champion, made her return to the track this year to contest the Swedish Motocross Championship. Despite being away from full-time racing for several seasons, she quickly found her flow again and showed steady improvement throughout the year. Her consistent performances earned her sixth overall in the championship standings, proving that her racing instincts remain sharp. More importantly, Kane rediscovered his passion for competition — a key factor in his decision to keep racing into 2026.
Looking ahead to next year, Natalie Kane has announced a switch from Husqvarna to Kawasaki, joining forces with Bergmans Motor and Kawasaki Sverige. The partnership marks a reunion with Benny Bergman, the man who first brought Kane to Sweden back in 2014 — a collaboration that led to three Swedish MXSM gold medals together.
Now, more than a decade later, the pair are teaming up once again with the goal of bringing Kane back to the front of the field. This move also reunites her with a familiar manufacturer — she last rode a Kawasaki in 2003, aboard a KX85cc as a young rider.
