The second wave of riders for the MXGP of Australia has been officially announced by the federation. GP ambassador Charli Cannon (HON) will headline the lineup.
The first wave included Taylah McCutcheon (Kawasaki), Madi Simpson (Yamaha), Emily Lambert (GASGAS), Leah Rimbas (Honda), and Darci Whalley (KTM). They will now be joined by Taylor Thompson (KTM), Sienna Giudice (KTM), Madison Healey (KTM), Samantha Macarthur (Husqvarna), Felicity Shrimpton (Triumph), and Mia Tongue (Honda).
With many European riders absent for this season finale, the 13 Australian competitors will help create a stronger field. For most of them, it will be a first taste of international racing, facing off against some of the best female riders in the world.
