Great Britain has just announced its team that will compete in the Women's Trophy at the 2025 Six Days in Italy.
Unsurprisingly, the leader will be Nieve Holmes. In great form since the start of the season, the Sherco rider is currently third in the Women's Enduro World Championship, leading the English and Portuguese championships. She will be joined by Elizabeth Tett, who leads the brand-new Junior Women's Enduro World Championship. Katie Walker has had a very good start to the season, particularly in the British championship. Emily Hall is the substitute rider.
One might have expected Rosie Rowett to be there, but the fourth-place finisher in the world championship declined the invitation. The Rieju rider is scheduled to undergo knee surgery during the same period.
Alex Jones – Women’s Team Manager: “It is an incredible honour to be part of such a dynamic and talented group of athletes, and I truly believe that we are a strong and well-prepared team with immense potential to excel on the international stage. Our team is not only comprised of skilled riders, but we also share a deep commitment to supporting one another and fostering a positive team environment. As we look forward to the competition in Italy, my hopes for our team are high. We are prepared to embrace every opportunity to showcase our skills, determination, and teamwork. I believe we can make a significant impact during the event, and I am excited to see how we will perform together as a cohesive unit. I want to take this moment to extend my gratitude to our coaches, support staff, sponsors, and everyone who has believed in us and contributed to our journey. Your unwavering support has strengthened our resolve and motivated us to reach new heights.”
