This weekend marked the fifth round of the Danish Championship in Svebølle, delivering thrilling battles and decisive results for the season.
Andersen succeeds in her return
Seven-time National Champion Sara Andersen made a strong comeback to the Danish Championship, winning both races. In the first race, she delivered a controlled performance from start to finish. In the second race, after a slower start, the Wozniak MX Yamaha Racing Team rider fought her way forward and claimed the lead after the halfway point, securing a memorable double victory.
Dam secures the title
Line Dam put up a fierce fight in the second race, trying everything to beat Andersen A great battle. However, her weekend was already a success. The Fantic rider secured the championship title after the first race, rewarding her consistency throughout the season. By doing so, she successfully defended her crown. Her closest rival, Laura Raunkjaer of the SYE 423 Racing Team, delivered another strong performance. Despite a difficult opening race where she had to fight back, she still managed to climb onto the podium once again.
Strong performances across the field
Louise Eriksen finished fourth overall after an intense battle in the second race. She confirmed her place as third in the championship standings and proudly stood on the podium on Andersen’s behalf, who was unable to attend. Barbara Aagaard Andersen rounded out the top five in only her second appearance of the season. The GasGas rider impressed in the second race, especially in her duel with Eriksen.
The rest of the Top 10
Anna Henriksen Legaard took sixth place on the day. She was followed by Nicoline Sorensen, Jasmina Rasksen, and Melanie Horkenborg. Amalie Møller Gertsen closed out the top ten with a solid performance.
