This Sunday in Australia, the 2025 WMX World Championship was announced. The manufacturers’ championship has been fiercely contested this season.

Thanks to the victories of Daniela Guillen and Kiara Fontanesi, GasGas clinched the title for the first time. The Spanish brand, now under Austrian control, was able to count on its two riders to achieve a near-perfect season. With eight wins out of 12 rounds, only the first round in Sardinia was difficult, possibly depriving one of its two riders of an individual title.

Defending champion Yamaha finished second this season, led by Lotte van Drunen. The Dutch rider secured good points this weekend to secure the WMX World Championship title but was unable to compete with the GasGas armada.

KTM finished on the podium. Led by Lynn Valk and Lucy Barker, the Austrian brand was able to count on Australians Madison Healey and Taylor Thompson to score points this weekend.

Honda held onto fourth place. Larissa Papenmeier contributed the majority of points to the Reds, assisted by April Franzoni. This weekend, it was the German who scored points in the first race, and Charli Cannon took the podium in the second.

Top five for Kawasaki. With Courtney Duncan absent, the Greens were able to count on Martine Hughes’ strong season. Absent this weekend, it was Taylah McCutcheon who scored the points on home soil.

Fantic held onto sixth place thanks to points scored by Mathea Selebø over four rounds, despite her absence in Australia. Triumph finished seventh. Represented by Amber Simons and Fiona Hoppe, the brand was able to count on Felicity Shrimpton to score points in the final.

Husqvarna entered the rankings in eighth place following the performance of Sienna Giudice.
